Barcelona’s first January target revealed

Dani Olmo, a La Masia product, could make a return to Barcelona in the January transfer window.

The RB Leipzig midfielder has agreed on a five-year contract in principle, which includes a pay cut. He verbally accepted the deal without taking a proper look at the terms and conditions. Despite holding talks with Cristiano Ronaldo’s entourage, Paris Saint-Germain never made a formal transfer offer.

The prospect of linking Ronaldo up with Lionel Messi tempted PSG. The Parisians talked with the forward’s agent, Jorge Mendes, and were aware of Juventus’ interest in Mauro Icardi.
