Immobile on Barca’s wishlist.

FC Barcelona have identified Ciro Immobile as one of their transfer targets for the summer. The Catalan giants view the 2019/20 Serie A Golden Boot winner as a replacement for Luis Suarez, who they want to offload.

Immobile, who also won last season’s European Golden Boot, is expected to cost around €50 million. [SPORT]

Juve join Messi chase.

Juventus are considering making a move for FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi. Messi is supposedly determined to leave Camp Nou this summer and has already submitted a transfer request. Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly keen on landing the superstar. [L’Equipe]

Arsenal ready to dispose Martinez.

Arsenal have decided to stick with Bernd Leno as their first-choice goalkeeper next season. As a result, they are willing to cash in on Emiliano Martinez, who rose to prominence in the absence of Leno last season.

The Gunners have placed a €22 million (£20m) price tag on the 27-year old Argentine, who has two years remaining on his contract. Valencia and Real Betis are showing interest in him. [The Athletic]

Four clubs set to battle for Higuain.

Premier League sides Fulham, West Ham United, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United are all interested in signing Juventus’ Gonzalo Higuain. The Cottagers and the Magpies are trying to bring in the striker while the Hammers and the Villa are closely monitoring his situation.

Bravo closing in on Betis move.

Real Betis are close to securing the signature of Claudio Bravo on a free transfer. Manuel Pellegrini is a huge admirer of the Chilean shot-stopper and specifically requested the club for his signing.

Bravo, who left Manchester City at the end of the 2019/20 season, is expected to join the Spanish side as early as by Sunday. [AS]
