Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus visited Luigi Ferraris Stadium tonight to face Sampdoria in a fresh Serie A match. If they won this evening, they could move a little closer to AC Milan at the top of the table. Come impressive defensive displays from both sides are a clear sign of the best Italian football’s return to glory. Although there were many missed chances on both sides, Juventus had the most opportunities to score another goal.

It finally came with just minutes left on the clock and Ronaldo working as a playmaker again. He set the ball up for Cuadrado to assist Aaron Ramsey and get those three away points. With this victory, Juventus moves to 39 units and takes third place on the table behind both clubs from Milano. Inter has to win against Benevento if they don’t want their advantage over Juventus to remain in two points.
