Juventus clinched their first victory in three games as they defeated the last team in the league standings.

Juventus defeated Salernitana with a 2-0 result in their Serie A game on Tuesday. The Bianconeri bounced back from their two consecutive defeats of the last season with an easy win.

Juventus displayed from the first minute that they wanted to win the game. The Bianconeri got their opener through Paulo Dybala in the 21st minute. The Argentine star scored a stunning volley to make it 1-0 for Juve. Georgio Chellini scored another goal before the half-time whistle, but it was ruled out by VAR.

The hosts made a few chances at the beginning of the second period, but they were not able to get the equalizer. Alvaro Morata doubled the lead for Juventus ten minutes after the hour-mark, ending Salernitana’s hopes for a comeback. Dybala had a chance to complete his brace by a spot-kick later on. However, he missed the penalty by sending his shot way over the bar.

Juventus climbed up to seventh place on the league table, while Salernitana suffered their 12th defeat of the season.
