Mohamed Salah is yet to agree fresh terms of his contract at Liverpool, with questions rising regarding his indistinct future.

Mohamed Salah has been part of a never-ending folk-tale about his future at Liverpool for months now. If you didn’t know already, the Egyptian has not yet agreed to fresh terms with the Reds.

With 148 goals to his name at Anfield, the 29-year-old is running down his deal which lasts until 2023. Yet, no paperwork has been carried out regarding his fresh terms, with plenty of speculation emerging over social media.

What has his agent posted?

The man in charge of Salah’s activities outside the field is Ramy Abbas Issa. He, in fact, helped both parties to agree to new terms back in 2018 following the striker’s 44-goal debut season.

It is said that Issa is involved in negotiations with Liverpool over Salah’s future. However, there have been no signs of any further movements in that regard.

The agent posted an image on social media on Thursday which sparked a great deal of rumours regarding Salah’s contract situation.

What is the meaning of the post?

Liverpool switched from New Balance to Nike as their kit manufacturers in 2020, and the image represents an old picture.

Hence, the photo reflects that Salah has not agreed on the new deal that Liverpool has offered him.

As a matter of fact, many are suggesting that Issa is hinting at the terms currently on the table as a joke.

In any way, it is also possible that there is no meaning behind the agent’s post. And the representative is just attempting to create a dramatic ambience over Salah’s future.
