The United States international has been linked with a departure from Camp Nou to Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
Sergino Dest is happy at Barcelona and it is ‘quite unlikely’ he leave will Camp Nou, according to the full-back’s agent, Michael Reschke.
The former Ajax star has struggled to make his mark under Xavi Hernandez. Adductor problems and coronavirus have limited him to just three appearances since the new manager arrived.
Recent reports, though, have suggested Dest doesn’t fit the profile of Xavi’s type of full-back. This, along with the club’s need to save salary space and the return of Dani Alves, has stirred rumors of an exit to Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

‘Sergino Dest is happy at Barcelona’
However, in an interview with German network Ran, Dest’s agent suggested a January exit is unlikely to happen for his client.
“Sergino is happy at Barcelona,” said Michael Reschke about a possible transfer. “It’s a big club. It’s because of that, it’s quite unlikely at this moment.”
Dest, who joined Barca in 2020 from Ajax for €21millon, is under contract with the Catalan club until 2025.
