According to reports in Italy, Manchester United have made an attempt to prize away Sandro Tonali from Brescia.
Sandro Tonali is a growing name in the Serie A and is gradually building a reputation for himself.
The 20-year-old is one of Serie A’s brightest prospects at the moments. It’s no surprise some of the top sides are keen on his signature.
Napoli and Juventus are some of the sides interested in Tonali but Inter have shown the most interest so far.
A report from Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport details that United recently made an inquiry for the Brescia midfielder.
Jadon Sancho remains the Red Devils’ priority target but Solskjaer is also open to adding reinforcements in midfield.
However, the report also suggests that United are likely to miss out on signing the Italy international. Inter are close to completing a deal for the 20-year-old.
The Nerazzurri have reportedly reached an initial agreement to sign Tonali on loan with an obligation to buy the midfielder for €35 million.
Regardless, United are trying to convince the youngster to perhaps join their camp.
Tonali’s agent has advised him to stay in the Serie A recently. Hence, it’s likely he could find the Inter move more appealing.
