Chelsea youth academy graduate, Fikayo Tomori is on the verge of joining Carlo Ancelotti’s Goodison Park revolution.

Frank Lampard gave Chelsea’s youth stars first-team opportunities. Fikayo Tomori was one of the beneficiaries of Lampard’s arrival.

However, the Blues have splurged in the transfer market and have added six additions to their dressing room. At the back, Malanga Sarr and Thiago Silva have been added. The already competitive defensive ranks got more competitive.

Fikayo Tomori did not feature for Chelsea in Project Restart and has been marginalized at the club. The young defender wants first-team minutes and is being linked with a season-long loan to Everton.

Daily Mail has reported that interest is high in Tomori. Steve Bruce wants him at Saint James’ Park, while Rennes want him in a similar deal. However, it seems Carlo Ancelotti and Everton have a leg up in the race for his services.

Everton have made widespread changes to their squad. James Rodriguez signed for them in a 25 million Euros deal with more players on the horizon.

The Toffees finished 12th in the 2019/20 Premier League season and hope to improve on their placement. They kick off the 2020/21 campaign with a trip to Tottenham on September 13.
