Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has been offered a £15m per year contract by Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, according to reports in Turkey.
Mesut Ozil has reportedly been offered a massive contract by Saudi giants Al-Nassr.
The German is currently the Gunners’ top earner with reported wages of £350,000-a-week.
And it appears Ozil could get the chance to earn even more than his massive wages at the Emirates.
The 31-year-old has just a year left at Arsenal and remains determined to see out the length of his contract.
Arsenal have tried to find a suitor for the German but his wages have proved to be a stumbling block. Well, they might have a life-line now.
Turkish outlet Fanatik claim Ozil has received an offer from the Saudi Pro League outfit based in Riyadh.
Al-Nassr reportedly want to sign the German midfielder this year. But if they cant, they will convince him to join them as a free agent next summer.
The offer might be difficult to turn down. It is a reported £15m tax free package each season. All of that and other bonuses on a three-year contract.
As per the report, Al-Nassr chiefs reportedly told Ozil “We want to make you the new Prince of Saudi Arabia and we will not spare any sacrifices for this.”
It is more than likely Ozil will see out his contract at Arsenal but he will surely have this one on his mind if the reports are true.
