According to a report, Manchester United are finally prepared to make a concrete move for Harry Kane this summer. There’s a catch though.

Manchester United’s owners are ready to make a move for Harry Kane in a bid to calm fan unrest that has centered around the club in recent weeks, claims reports.

The Red Devils’ most recent outing against Liverpool was called off due to fan protests at Old Trafford and just in front of the Lowry Hotel, where Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his players gather before games.

Supporters were demonstrating against the Glazer family’s ownership of the club.

United’s involvement in the Super League was the final straw for the protests at the weekend, but the Glazers have long been unpopular at Old Trafford.

The American family have no intention of selling the club, however, and they are preparing to take steps to win over the fans.

As per The Sun, the Glazers are ready to submit a formal offer for Kane, who could be on his way out of Tottenham this summer. The fee in question is believed to be around £90m.

The England international is reportedly considering his future in north London, with Spurs set to miss out on the Champions League for a second season in a row.

Kane has enjoyed a magnificent campaign, having scored 21 goals and provided 13 assists in the Premier League.

After yet another disappointing campaign for Tottenham, they might be open to selling their star man in a bid not to lose him for free. It would be interesting to see what becomes of that.
