According to a revealing report, Chelsea is not done with transfer mayhem as they will attempt to sign one of Juventus’ biggest names.
The most recent spending spree wasn’t enough for Chelsea, they might be willing to spend even more on a Juventus star. Frank Lampard’s squad is not ready to give up on trying to find a true world-beater to lead their already frightening attack. Amongst the many options they have, the Paulo Dybala possibility emerges.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Argentine player is still considered one of the club’s most talented stars but Juventus’ patience is running out. Dybala is currently the second-highest-paid player at the club, but he is nowhere near Cristiano Ronaldo’s level. Although he’s already won several titles with the ‘Old Lady’, Juventus might be willing to hear offers for one of their biggest names.
This new revelation goes directly against Cristiano Ronaldo’s wishes to keep the best players at the club. However, the Portuguese star might understand where the club is coming from.
Who can replace Dybala at Juventus?
The most recent transfer window was quite revealing for Juventus. They didn’t only offload star players such as Douglas Costa but they also signed some interesting talents. Up and coming Italian winger, Federico Chiesa is the latest addition to the club.
Andrea Pirlo’s plans revolve around making the youngster play next to Cristiano Ronaldo and give Paulo a less important role. The Italian giants also have Kulusevski as one of the biggest hopes for the future, which leaves the Argentine with even fewer opportunities at the club.
We know Cristiano Ronaldo’s position in the squad is not negotiable. The final spots inside the starting eleven will be up for grabs between at least four players. Chelsea will try to pay good money for ‘La Joya’ but we still won’t know the ballpark until they make an actual offer.
