Freddie Ljungberg has left a hole in the backroom team of Arsenal, now Arteta is shopping for replacements
Mikel Arteta is reportedly looking to recruit the services of set-piece specialist Andreas Georgson in a bid to replace Ljungberg in Arsenal.
Ljungberg left Arsenal on Saturday to further his coaching career. The highly respected Arsenal legend will be missed but Arteta has set his sights on a potential replacement to beef up his back room staff.
According to The Evening Standard , Arteta has already identified Goergson as the perfect replacement for Ljunberg at Arsenal.
Georgson currently works at Brentford as their Head of Set Pieces and Individual Development. Before he took this job, he had been working at Malmo as an assistant coach.
Set-pieces were an issue for Arsenal last season, with the Gunners conceding a high number of goals from them.
Only last season, Arsenal conceded from free-kicks and corners on 15 occasions in the Premier League. Only two sides, Watford (16) and Norwich (17) let in more.
