According to reports from Italy, Massimiliano Allegri could turn down a managerial offer from PSG as he prefers to coach Inter instead.

Antonio Conte’s future as Inter boss is uncertain at the moment. Allegri is one of the names strongly linked as a replacement at the San Siro.

The current Inter boss has made recent comments hinting at his disapproval of how the club is managed at top level.

In fact, Conte will have crunch talks with the Inter hierarchy tomorrow and some reports already claim he could be dismissed. This is where Allegri comes into the picture.

PSG manager Thomas Tuchel is in a similar limbo with Conte. Despite the former’s trio of domestic titles with PSG this season, rumors claimed the club’s hierarchy were still left unimpressed with the manager.

Allegri was lined up as his replacement and was also looking forward to the job. That is until the possibility of a vacancy at Inter came about.

Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio maintains the Italian coach would rather wait for the Nerazzurri’s proposal than consider one from Paris Saint-Germain.

Allegri would be a natural option for Inter having won the Serie A severally during his time at Juventus. Asides that,  is based in Milan and has already worked with current Inter director Beppe Marotta at Juventus.

On short notice, Conte stepped in for Allegri as Juve manager back in 2014. Reverse could now be the case if the latest reports are true.
