Early signs have been positive for the German tactician who took over from the Blues legend at Stamford Bridge the previous month.
Antonio Rudiger takes delight in Thomas Tuchel’s solid start to life as the Chelsea manager.
Tuchel, as it appears so far, has been successful in bringing the much-needed consistency for Chelsea.
The Blues dropped 28 points in their opening 19 Premier League fixtures under Frank Lampard and slipped to eighth which led to the club legend losing his job but have claimed 10 points out of a possible 12 under the former Paris Saint-Germain head coach.
The London side have been able to climb up to fifth in the standings, just a point below champions Liverpool.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Sky Germany, Rudiger insists the players enjoy playing under the new manager while commenting on the German’s impact at the club so far.
“The most important impression he’s made is that he knows what he wants,” said the defender.
“He has his way of playing football, which is positive for many players. This is also reflected in the latest results. This has been a good, positive start for him.”
