The Portuguese superstar has reportedly decided to fulfil his contract at Old Trafford.

Reports around Cristiano Ronaldo’s possible move away from Manchester United have surfaced again in recent days.

According to Record, CR7 is ready to quit United after seeing their poor performance in the transfer market.

The Portuguese outlet claim Ronaldo believes Erik ten Hag won’t have the necessary tools to compete for titles next season.

Spanish outlet AS went as far as to suggest Bayern Munich are closely following Ronaldo’s situation.

The Bavarians are reportedly scanning the market to find a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who might join Barcelona this summer.

Sky Sports, however, has debunked these reports, claiming Ronaldo will return to Old Trafford for United’s pre-season campaign.

According to the English outlet, Ronaldo doesn’t fit Bayern’s transfer policy, with the German club trying to keep Lewandowski for the final year of his contract.

Ten Hag has repeatedly expressed his excitement about working with Ronaldo in his first season at Old Trafford.

Speaking to De Telegraaf in May, the Dutchman said (via Goal): “I look forward to working with him. Ronaldo is a giant.

“Because of what he’s already shown and I think he’s still very ambitious.

“Of course I’d like to keep him. He has been very important for Man Utd this year [and he] can produce great statistics.”
