The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is in the Manchester United starting XI to face West Ham for a Premier League match at the London Stadium.
Cristiano Ronaldo will make his third successive start for Manchester United ahead of Sunday’s showdown with West Ham.
With Edinson Cavani unavailable, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has pinned his hopes on Ronaldo once more. The Portuguese ace has delivered fabulously since his return from Juventus, scoring three goals in only two games.
Solskjaer has also opted to drop Jadon Sancho in favor of Paul Pogba starting on the left. The Red Devils boss has instead selected the returning Scott McTominay to partner Fred. He probably made this move to counter the West Ham threat of Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek.
🗣 "We found the decision better to leave him here now and good chance to come on and make a difference."

Nemanja Matic, who didn’t start in Tuesday’s Champions League defeat to BSC Young Boys, is on the bench again. Raphael Varane and Mason Greenwood, on the other hand, return to the line-up after being on the bench in Switzerland.
The clash in London begins at 15:00 (CEST).
