The Portuguese superstar added another impressive milestone to his haul after finding the back of the net again for Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo has become the oldest Premier League player to both score and assist in a game since Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.

The forward pulled off the feat during Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Tottenham in the Premier League.

At 36 years and 267 days old, Ronaldo matched Drogba’s milestone in style on Saturday. He fired United into the lead with a brilliant far-post volley against Spurs before half-time. Then, to sweeten the deal, he produced a slick slide-rule pass to set up Edinson Cavani for the club’s next goal in the second half.

Marcus Rashford, who replaced Ronaldo as a second-half substitute, sealed the win with a third goal four minutes from time.

When did Drogba last score and assist in a EFL game?

Incidentally, Drogba was exactly 36 years and 267 days old when he achieved this feat. And to add to the irony, it was against the same opponents – Tottenham – and ended with the same scoreline.

The Ivorian set the record in December 2014 during a 3-0 win for Chelsea over Spurs. He assisted Eden Hazard’s opening goal at Stamford Bridge in the 19th-minute and then got on the scoresheet himself three minutes.

Tottenham are Ronaldo’s biggest English victims

The Portugal captain’s goal on Saturday was the 11th time he had scored against Spurs, more than any other English side he has faced in his career. His overall stats in this fixture are 11 goals and six assists in 19 games across all competitions.

Aside from that, Ronaldo has also scored and assisted in a Premier League match against the London club on three occasions.
