Ronaldo scored his 760th career goal last month to surpass Czech great Josef Bican as the all-time leading scorer in the history of football.
As impressive as that record is, it is just one among a plethora of goalscoring records the prolific Portuguese has to his name.
The 36-year-old is the Champions League all-time top-scorer, has scored the most goals in a single Champions League season, is Real Madrid’s best-ever scorer, is the only player to score 50+ goals in the Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A…and the list goes on.
Ronaldo’s dedication to his work and determination to succeed is no secret, and Barzagli, who was fortunate enough to share the dressing room with him, has now applauded the iconic footballer’s “hunger”.
“The striker who put me in most difficulty? Ronaldo always scored against us so it was always very difficult with him,” the former Juve defender told the club’s official Twitch account.
“Didier Drogba also, a force of nature.
“Ronaldo? He is the best finisher of all time. He scores goals for you in all different ways. His goals record says it all. His wickedness and his hunger are incredible things.”
