The Brazilian legend has noted how Cristiano is ‘different’ since leaving Real Madrid, but remains as deadly as ever on the pitch.

Ronaldo Nazario believes Cristiano Ronaldo has learned how to manage himself in games and remain a formidable attacker at the same time since swapping Real Madrid for Juventus.

Plenty of eyebrows were raised when the Portuguese, who was 33 years old at the time, called time on a magnificent career in Madrid for a new challenge in 2018. But in typical CR7 fashion, he has silenced his doubters.

Now, with just under three weeks left before his 36th birthday, Cristiano tops the Serie A scoring charts with an incredible 15 goals in only 13 games. He’s also in contention for a fifth European Golden Shoe in 2020/21.

When asked by Gazzetta dello Sport if CR7 could play into his forties, Brazilian legend Ronaldo said: “I don’t know, for sure he will try.

“He is different from the player I saw at Real Madrid, he knows how to manage himself now. Did you see him against Sassuolo?

“Even if he stays in the shadows for the whole game, he can hurt in the space of one minute.”

Cristiano will return to action on Sunday for a Serie A match between Inter Milan and Juventus at the San Siro.
