The 2018/19 champions have called up as CR7 for the four Nations League games in June.

Cristiano Ronaldo is in Portugal’s 26-man squad for the start of the 2022/23 UEFA Nations League campaign.

Joining Ronaldo in the team are his Manchester United teammates Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes. Fellow Premier League stars Joao Cancelo and Ruben Neves also made the cut, as did FC Porto’s Pepe and RB Leipzig’s Andre Silva.

“This is one of the most important competitions on the sporting calendar. We enter to win,” Portugal manager Fernando Santos told reporters after announcing the squad.

“There are four games in 10 days. It is a very important competition and it will require management of the players.”

Which teams will Portugal face?

Portugal are in Group A2 for the 2022/23 Nations League alongside the Czech Republic, Spain, and Switzerland.

Ronaldo and co will begin their bid for a second Nations League title on June 2 away to Spain in Seville. They then host Switzerland in Lisbon three days later on June 5.

Another home game against the Czech Republic will follow on June 9, before Portugal wrap things up for the summer by visiting Switzerland on June 12 at the Stade de la Praille in Lancy.
