Plans have been announced to bring the Manchester United superstar over to Abuja for mentoring African youth in 2022.

The founder and President of the African Children Talent Discovery Foundation (ACTDF), Dr. Noah Dallaji, has disclosed plans to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to Nigeria.

Dr. Dallaji, a renowned sports philanthropist from Nigeria, spoke to reporters in Abuja at the recent FCT SWAN symposium about how the ACTDF intends to keep supporting young Africans in education, sport, art, and entertainment.

To support his efforts, Dallaji announced former United States President Barack Obama would mentor young Africans in October 2022.

He also plans to have Manchester United star Ronaldo, ex-England captain David Beckham, Cameroon legend Samuel Eto’o, and Ivory Coast and Chelsea icon Didier Drogba grace the Moshood Abiola stadium by June 2022.

“In this stadium where we’re sitting down, in June, we’ll have the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, who would grace the occasion and mentor the young ones,” said Dr. Dallaji as quoted by Abiola Shodiya on allnigeriasoccer.com.

“We’re working so hard on it and we’re going to have the meeting by sometime in March in Manchester to see how things can be possible. He is convinced about it, I think he is going to come.

“The likes of David Beckham, and then few other stars from Africa here, our own people, Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto’o would be here to mentor these young people.”

Dr. Dallaji added: “If that is the only thing we can do and give back to society, we’ll continue to do it. With your help also. We’ll be talking to you more on it very soon, once we make the progress.”
