No clubs from Italy or abroad approached Roberto Mancini, with the tactician asserting his loyalties to the national team’s cause.

There are new coaches at Juventus, Cagliari and Genoa. However, no one has approached Roberto Mancini to stabilize their rocking ships.

It was expected in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been plenty of upheaval. The turmoil is felt in European football, especially in Italy, where managerial changes occur on a regular basis.

Roberto Mancini is unfazed by circumstances in his surroundings and is focused on the job with Gli Azzurri. He also rejected rumors that he was approached by a club to leave his current role.

The former Inter Milan and Manchester City manager shared that his goal is to ensure Italy perform in the upcoming Europan Championships and the World Cup.

“My goal is to do well in the European Championships and do well in the World Cup. It would be a regret to leave the national team to someone else,” Sports Max quoted the 55-year-old.

“No one tried to hire me this summer.”

“We started this job two years ago with great difficulties and despite everything I think we managed to do a great job and we hope to improve it even more,” Mancini added.

Italy have two tough Nations League fixtures coming up. They take on Bosnia-Herzegovina in Florence, and travel to Amsterdam to face-off against Netherlands.
