Jude Bellingham has attracted interest from several top European clubs in the past couple of seasons.

Four months after selling Jadon Sancho on an €85 million deal, Dortmund are already back in the market with a new teenage sensation.

Since his arrival from Birmingham in July 2020, Jude Bellingham has established himself as a key player at the German side. The English starlet has impressed with his top-quality performances in the Black and Yellows’ midfield. Being best known for his pace and technical abilities, the 18-year-old is also showing great versatility in his performances.

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand believes the Red Devils should not miss the chance to sign Bellingham.

He told Vibe with Five: “Any. He is that good. In the England youth teams, there were times he was playing as a holding midfielder, the no8, box-to-box, and times he can go on and join the attack even more.

“He has the capability and capacity to play all of the roles, he is that good.”

He added: “I think for him I see him as someone who can do it all.

“There aren’t that many midfielders now who can attack and defend and affect the game at both ends of the pitch.

“When you are one of the super clubs, you think if we have got the financial muscle to get him, he is one you don’t want to miss out on.”

Bellingham made his England debut against Ireland last year, becoming the third-youngest senior player to do so. He has continued his impressive performances in Dortmund’s midfield this year as they sit second in Bundesliga.

Liverpool are currently leading the transfer race for Bellingham. However, a bidding war between several clubs is possible, given the player’s exceptional qualities.

Dortmund will be back in action on Saturday as they meet Stuttgart in a Bundesliga match.
