Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has predicted more misery for Arsenal ahead of a must-win Premier League clash with Chelsea.
Three consecutive defeats against Crystal Palace, Brighton, and Southampton have seen the Gunners slip down into sixth in the Premier League table, three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham.
And given Chelsea’s decent form of late, Ferdinand expects another disappointing outing for Mikel Arteta’s side on Wednesday.
“Chelsea have got Arsenal… Massive game,” the former defender said on the Vibe with Five YouTube channel.
“Can Arsenal turn it around? I don’t know, it’s been a bad couple of games for them. Chelsea look to be back in form, got themselves in the final. Wow, I don’t see Arsenal getting a result there.”
The Blues are on a three-match winning run and booked a spot in the FA Cup final last weekend by beating Crystal Palace 2-0 at Wembley.

Like Ferdinand, the bookies expect Chelsea to come out on top in the latest London derby over at Stamford Bridge.
Bet365 is backing Thomas Tuchel’s men to win at odds of 1.83, suggesting they have a 55% chance of all three points at the time of writing. A draw returns odds of 3.60, while an Arsenal win is priced at 4.33.
