The The 24-year-old attacker is supposedly a leading candidate to replace Real Madrid-linked Kylian Mbappe.

Everton boss Rafa Benitez poured cold water on Richarlison to Paris Saint-Germain rumors saying the club have no intention of selling the player.

Richarlison is tied to Everton until 2024 but he has been tipped for an early departure – quite early actually as speculations suggest he could leave Goodison Park in the next few days, before the August 31 transfer window deadline.

He is drawing interest from Paris Saint-Germain, who are preparing for life after Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe has been linked with a late move to Real Madrid, and the Brazilian forward’s name is said to be at the top of PSG’s shortlist of potential candidates to replace the Frenchman.

Richarlison has developed into a deadly attacker ever since joining Everton from Watford on a £50 million transfer back in 2018, having scored 43 goals in 121 appearances for the Toffees.

“We are not considering selling him,” Benitez told a press conference ahead of Everton’s Premier League meeting with Brighton on Saturday.

“He is our player, we are really pleased with him, really happy. Hopefully, he can score a lot of goals this year for us.”
