A banana was thrown at the Brazilian attacker during a friendly against Tunisia in Paris.

Richarlison has warned football authorities that racism will continue ‘every day and everywhere’ unless they take action.

A fan from the stands at the Parc des Princes threw a banana at Richarlison as the forward celebrated scoring Brazil’s second goal during Tuesday’s 5-1 friendly win over Tunisia.

“As long as they say “blah blah blah” and don’t punish, it will continue like this, happening every day and everywhere. No time bro!” Richarlison later posted on Twitter.

The Tottenham star’s abuse was the second high-profile incident to impact Brazilian footballers after Atletico Madrid supporters targeted Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior for his goal dancing celebrations.

The Brazil squad had posed with an anti-racism banner prior to kick-off. It read: “Without our black players, we wouldn’t have stars on our shirts”.

The five-time world champions return to action on November 24 for their Group G opener against Serbia at the World Cup. They will also play Switzerland (November 28) and Cameroon (December 2) in the FIFA tournament.
