According to a recent report, Juventus might be looking to reunited Cristiano Ronaldo with one of his former coaches from a few years back.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s possible exit from Juventus is a matter of heated debate all over Europe. There are many who think the player doesn’t want to continue playing at his club anymore due to the lack of titles obtained on the international stage. Both Andrea Pirlo and Maurizio Sarri have failed to get everything they wanted from a star-studded Juventus squad. In some cases, there are those who think Ronaldo is the problem but others are convinced this is a managerial issue.

Recent reports of Zidane possibly leaving by the end of the season are the main factor playing in this scenario. Juventus are convinced they can sway ‘Zizou’ to make a shift from Spain to Italy with Cristiano Ronaldo as their prime convincing card. They believe both the player and the manager want to work together again regardless of the place they meet again. Diario AS reported that Zidane should get an offer from the Italian giants by the end of the current season.

Zidane’s Juventus past might help.

After getting eliminated for the third consecutive season, Juventus are convinced that Andrea Pirlo might not be the manager they expected after all. Their intentions remain strictly on winning the UEFA Champions League. With this as their prime objective, they believe a manager like Zidane might be the key to unlock this inability to compete at this stage. The report suggests the Bianconeri might sack Pirlo before the end of the current season and make an offer Zidane won’t be able to refuse.

As far as Cristiano Ronaldo’s future is concerned. Real Madrid won’t be able to take him anywhere if Juventus isn’t willing to sell him. It is more likely Zidane might leave if the club finishes the season with no titles in the trophy cabinet. Plus, Pavel Nedved recently revealed that the club is not willing to let their best player leave the institution.
