According to reports coming from France, FC Barcelona is trying to accommodate a possible trade with Juventus that will surprise you.

FC Barcelona’s swap deals are the most important tool they have for the summer transfer window as they move their focus towards Juventus. According to L’Equipe, the Catalan club’s attempts to swap Antoine Griezmann for Saul Ñiguez didn’t work and they gave up on the idea. However, they are still determined to kick the French forward out of the club by any means necessary. They are now moving their attention to Juventus in a new attempt to get a decent player out of the mix.

Paulo Dybala’s name is the one in Joan Laporta’s mind but the Vecchia Signora might not be willing to make this trade. Although it’s only a possibility, the Blaugranas will do everything in their power to let Griezmann out of the club. Otherwise, they won’t be able to sign Leo Messi and bring the new transfer to the club in an official manner. Both Memphis Depay and Sergio Aguero’s contract are still pending because the club needs to offload Griezmann before making any other moves. Today, we received a surprise at FC Barcelona’s camp that nobody was expecting.

Griezmann and Depay join the squad.

Given the situation, it was initially reported that Antoine Griezmann didn’t want to start the pre-season with the Catalan club. But the news today was that the French forward arrived at the training session as if nothing was wrong. Alongside him, we spotted Memphis Depay in a close conversation with Ronald Koeman. We are still unaware of Paulo Dybala’s position with this alleged trade offer but the Argentine star has the intention to continue playing at the Italian club.

For now, all we can do is wait for more developments on the transfer window in order to get proper news. Only one thing is certain: FC Barcelona wants to get rid of Antoine Griezmann and the player also wants to leave the club. But none of this can happen if two clubs don’t reach a proper agreement over the next couple of weeks. For now, the Catalan club started the pre-season with the more high-profile players while Messi enjoys his vacation as a free agent.
