Real Madrid continue their incredible form as they bag another three points in La Liga.
Real Madrid defeated Real Betis with a 2-0 result in their La Liga game on Saturday. The Blancos stayed on top of the league table as they clinched their eighth victory in a row.
Jovic steals the show!
Real Madrid came close to scoring the opening goal several times during the first half. However, the hosts retained their organized defence against the Blancos’ attacks.
It did not take long for Real Madrid to find the back of the net in the second half. The Blancos started the second period with a great rhythm as Vinicius Junior scored the opener in the 47th minute.
After the second goal, Sociedad created a few chances to get the equalizer. However, Real Madrid punished them quickly by doubling their lead only ten minutes after the opener. Luka Jovic, who had provided the assist for Vinicius’ goal, scored the second goal of the night after a Kroos corner.
Real Madrid are leading the La Liga table with 39 points from their 16 games. Following the league victory, the Blancos will face Inter in a Champions League match on Tuesday.
On the other hand, Betis remain third, thanks to Atletico Madrid’s defeat against Mallorca.
