Right before a crucial Champions League match, Real Madrid’s social media and website got hacked and shared some fake news.

Real Madrid supporters woke up with some alarming but fake news ahead of today’s Champions League match against Atalanta. The club’s social media nad website posted an article on Rodrygo Goes allegedly getting injured and missing the game. Minutes after that, the news were taken down and everybody realized Real Madrid was hacked. Contrary to last weekend’s news about Eden Hazard’s injury, the font and style of the Rodrygo article was quite different from other injury reports.

After the incident, things got back to normal in what seemed like a tasteless prank against Los Blancos. Even Rodrygo himself posted a message of encouragement where he states he is ready to face Atalanta later today. But there’s another set of news that wasn’t fake and it has all Real Madrid fans confused.

Eden Hazard set to undergo surgery.

After last weekend’s injury, Eden Hazard was in a tight spot with his physical fitness. The Belgian player suffered his tenth muscular issue in two seasons and the problems just keep on happening. As it turns out, these issues have an origin in the ankle issue he suffered against PSG at the end of 2019. The team’s doctors are already suggesting Hazard to undergo new ankle surgery in order to prevent more muscular issues.

It has been reported by COPE that the player is seriously considering this option but it would keep him out of play for the rest of the season. This is a major blow for Real Madrid and Eden Hazard this season. Hopefully, he can overcome this problem and return to his former self.
