The reigning La Liga champions have received a double boost ahead of the trip to Huesca on the weekend.

Sergio Ramos and Eden Hazard returned to group training on Wednesday as Real Madrid step up their preparations for Saturday.

The Spanish giants head to Huesca on the back of a costly 2-1 defeat to Levante last weekend. Victory is a must, with a 10-point deficit to La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid to recover from, and the returns of the duo could prove decisive.

According to Marca, Hazard has resumed group training after spending Tuesday in the gym due to muscle fatigue. Therefore, he appears ready to make his sixth league appearance in a row this weekend.

Ramos, on the other hand, returns from a knee injury. The captain has missed the last two games to ensure a full recovery rather than risk aggravating his injury.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane also came back to the team on Tuesday after spending 12 days in quarantine for a positive COVID-19 test. He returned a negative result for his latest test and is set to return to the dugout.

But the injured Dani Carvajal and Nacho Fernandez, who recently tested positive for COVID-19, remain absent.

While Lucas Vazquez, Rodrygo Goes, and Fede Valverde are doubtful for the trip to Huesca on Saturday.
