The Blancos continue their policy of signing the best Brazilian youngsters.

Real Madrid are reportedly “close” to reaching an agreement over the transfer of Brazilian winger Endrick.

The Palmeiras star has established a reputation as one of the best talents in Brazilian football.

Several clubs, including Chelsea, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain, showed interest in signing the winger. However, it seems Real Madrid are on the verge of finalizing his transfer.

According to 90min, Real Madrid’s chief scout Juni Calafat is in the process of finalizing a deal for Endrick.

The scout has previously brought the likes of Rodrygo, Vinicius Junor, and Federico Valverde to Santiago Bernabeu.

However, none of those transfers was subject to such a heavy race with other clubs.

Endrick and his family travelled to Europe and negotiated with a number of clubs last month. Chelsea were among the 16-year-old’s main suitors, but it seems they won’t be able to add him to their squad.

Real Madrid must pay Endrick’s €60m release clause, in addition to a few performance-related bonuses.

However, the Brazilian star won’t be able to join the Blancos right away.

FIFA’s regulations prohibit international transfer of under-18 players, meaning Endrick would be available to play for Real Madrid after the next season.
