According to a report, Real Madrid could consider sending Serbian forward Luka Jovic out on loan in January.

Prior to another transfer window, Luka Jovic has once again been linked with a move to AC Milan.

Since joining Los Blancos in the summer of 2019 in a €60m move, the 22-year-old has struggled for chances to impress.

Karim Benzema was in good form for Real Madrid last season and remained the full backing of Zidane as the club’s no 1 striker. A decision that shouldn’t be debated for any reason at all and rightly so.

This summer, Jovic came close to joining Milan but Real Madrid ultimately decided to keep him.

So far this season, he has seen just 160 minutes in La Liga this season.

It means only Eder Militao and Alvaro Odriozola have seen less playing time among the Real Madrid first-team players.

Now, the Milan links are back. Spanish outlet AS claim that Milan are considering signing Luka Jovic from Real Madrid on loan in the January transfer window.

The Rossoneri could include an option to buy in the six-month loan deal.

Milan already have another highly-regarded Madrid forward on loan in Brahim Diaz who has impressed so far in both Serie A and the Europa League.

The report says Milan may want to add an option to buy for Jovic but Madrid will thread with caution regarding that decision.

The added fact that Zidane still has Mariano Diaz to call upon as a back-up striker could see them strongly consider the loan move for the Serbian forward.
