The Blancos prepare for a possible Clasico meet-up in Saudi Arabia.
Eduardo Camavinga and Lucas Vazquez have suffered injuries ahead of Real Madrid’s upcoming clash in the Spanish Super Cup final.
The Blancos managed to beat Valencia in the penalties after the Yellow Submarines held them to a 1-1 draw at King Fahad Stadium.
The victory sends Real Madrid to the Super Cup final, where they will face the winners of Barcelona’s clash against Real Betis.
However, Real Madrid might have to play without two key players in the final.
“Lucas Vazquez has a sprained ankle. Camavinga has a blow to the knee and Militao has dizziness, but he’s better now,” Ancelotti said post-match.
“Lucas has something, Camavinga I don’t know.”
Carlo Ancelotti’s side saw their gap to La Liga leaders Barcelona increase to three points last weekend. After an unexpected league defeat against Villarreal, the Blancos failed to beat Valencia in the regular time.
Asked about his side’s performance in their first Super Cup match, Ancelotti added: “Suffering…complicated game. A tie is never easy. The end of the game has been good, better.
“The team is not at its best. You have to improve little by little, suffering, but always present on the field and competing.
“There is no easy match in football. The rivals are well organised. The important thing is to win.”
