Real Madrid pariah Isco has been out of favour at Santiago Bernabeu and will have to make a crucial decision for his future.
Real Madrid outcast Isco has a tough choice to make between a January exit or becoming a free agent next summer.
The 29-year-old racked successful eight years at Santiago Bernabeu after his initial transfer from Malaga in 2013. Los Blancos won numerous domestic titles along with European glory during Isco’s time at the club.
However, since the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti, the playmaker has found himself sliding down the pecking order. Moreover, his contract will expire in the next six months.
According to Goal, Isco’s agent hopes to clear out the situation regarding his future at the club before the end of this year. With no positive signs of renewal, January looks to be the last step that the midfielder will take at Real.
Isco has the option to leave the club immediately in the January transfer window. Although, if he chooses to become a free agent, he might be of more value to potential buyers.
Reports from Cadena COPE and Cadena SER suggested that the central player had a disagreement with Ancelotti during Madrid’s 4-1 at Granada on September 25. Isco played the last 10 minutes of the game but did not follow warm-up instructions from one of the Italian manager’s assistants.
The entire scene indicates that the Spaniard will no longer look to stay at the club, though he will have to make a difficult decision for his future.
