The Blues are keen to offload one of their forwards by sending him out on a loan deal at Santiago Bernabeu.

Chelsea have reportedly offered Timo Werner to Real Madrid on a loan deal.

Since moving to Chelsea in July 2020, the German forward has failed to live up to expectations at Stamford Bridge.

The arrival of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City will most likely decrease Werner’s chances of getting game time next season.

According to Cadena SER, the Blues hope to send Werner on loan to Real Madrid.

Thomas Tuchel is reportedly unwilling to rely on his countryman as one of his main forwards ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

On the other hand, Real Madrid are willing to increase their squad’s depth this summer. However, the Blancos are reportedly against making a big-money move to reinforce their front line.

Signing Werner on a loan deal would please all parties as it will most likely provide the 26-year-old with more game time next season.

The former RB Leipzig star scored only four goals in his 21 Premier League appearances last season.
Similar to Romelu Lukaku, who left to join Inter earlier this summer, it seems Werner is also not in Tuchel’s plans for the new campaign.
