The World Cup winner, one of the hottest properties in world football, is approaching the end of his contract at the French capital.

Kylian Mbappe insists his decision to remain at Paris Saint-Germain or opt for a move away will be heavily influenced by his parents.

The French forward could leave the club on a free in 18 months’ time as his current contract will keep him at Parc des Princes until the summer of 2022.

Real Madrid are supposedly determined to sign him the next summer while Liverpool are a keen admirer of the player.

Well aware of the situation, PSG are desperately trying to tie their prized asset down to fresh terms.

The 21-year-old has a tough decision to make over his future – whether to remain in his native France at PSG or to pursue his supposed dream of joining forces with Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid – and he insists he will be consulting his family before he makes up his mind.

Mbappe told Copa90: “We make every decision together, as a family. I think it’s the strongest possible thing. This has pushed me higher and allowed me to be where I am today.

“Without them, it would be impossible, because sometimes you have bad moments. When you have bad moments in your career, you can see which people are there for you, and my parents are there for me every time.

“Without them, I don’t think I would have everything I do at the moment. They show me the right way to be and I’m really lucky to have these parents.”
