Real Madrid will have two of players back for their first game of the year.

Real Madrid have suffered a COVID-19 outbreak lately. On Wednesday, the Blancos announced that four of their first-team players had tested positive for COVID-19. Thibaut Courtois, Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, and Vinicius Junior moved to self-isolation after their positive tests. However, the club will have two of them back for their next La Liga match.

According to Marca, Courtois and Valverde will be back in time to play for Real Madrid against Getafe. The Spanish side also claims Camavinga could have also played. However, the player is out with suspension.

Courtois has reportedly shown no symptoms while delivering two negative tests in two days after the initial positive result. The convincing explanation is that the first test was a false positive.

Another Spanish source, AS, claims Vinicius Junior has also tested negative on Friday. If he manages to provide another negative test, he will be able to travel with Real Madrid. However, it is unlikely that Carlo Ancelotti will use him in his squad after missing out on training for a week.

The absence of Vinicius and Luka Jovic might provide Eden Hazard to start against Getafe. The Real Madrid forward might play in his favourite left-wing role while Rodrygo will most move to the right-hand side.

Ancelotti also has Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio at his disposal. However, it is not clear whether the Blancos pair are ready to play after their lengthy spell on the sidelines.

After the game against Getafe, Real Madrid will play against Alcoyano in a Copa del Rey game on Wednesday.
