The Blancos are getting ready for their first Madrid derby of the new season.
Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior will return in time for Real Madrid’s upcoming match against Atletico Madrid, according to Carlo Ancelotti.
Bellingham has quickly established himself as a cornerstone of Real Madrid’s squad since joining the club in the summer transfer window. The English midfield scored another last-minute winner for the Blancos in their 1-0 win over Union Berlin on Tuesday.
Bellingham missed Real Madrid’s first training session after the game with a “stomach problem”, but he will be back in time for his side’s next La Liga game.
“Jude Bellingham will play tomorrow,” the Italian manager said. “I was worried about Bellingham? I wouldn’t cry if he didn’t play. We have others players.”
Real Madrid have managed to continue their winning run despite not having one of their best forwards since mid-August. However, Vinicius Junior has already completed his rehab process.
“Vinicius has 100% recovered,” Ancelotti added. “Zero risks. He would be in the squad for the game. But we will see tomorrow (if he starts or not).”
Following their match against Atletico, Ancelotti’s men will take on Las Palmas in a mid-week game before meeting Girona next Saturday.
