Real Madrid came back from behind to secure a hard-fought victory at Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid defeated Sevilla with a 2-1 result in their league game on Sunday. The Blancos stay on top of the La Liga table as they maintain their four-point lead over Atletico Madrid.

Vini completes the comeback!

Sevilla stunned Real Madrid with an early opener as Rafa Mir scored the first goal of the night in the 12th minute.

The Blancos started their efforts to get the equalizer. However, their careless attacking got Sevilla close to extending their lead. The guests were not clinical enough to convert their chances and conceded the equalizers just after the half-hour mark.

Real Madrid intensified their efforts to score the match-winner in the second half, but they struggled to get past Sevilla’s well-organized defence.

It was time for Vinicius Junior to make a difference for Real Madrid again. The 21-year-old fired a screamer from the edge of the box to make it 2-1 for the Spanish giants.

Real Madrid keep their distance on top of the league table with 33 points from 14 matches. On the other hand, Sevilla missed their chance to claim second place and slipped to fourth place behind Real Sociedad.
