Real Madrid bounced back from their derby defeat with an easy home win.

Real Madrid defeated Las Palmas 2-0 in their La Liga match on Wednesday. The Blancos returned to winning ways with a dominant display at Santiago Bernabeu.

What happened?

Real Madrid established their dominance over the possession almost immediately, keeping the visitors under pressure throughout the first half.

After registering a total of 18 shots, the Blancos finally broke the deadlock through Brahim Diaz just before the break. The Spaniard latched onto Lucas Vazquez’s precise low cross into the box before smashing it into the back of the net with a powerful finish.

It didn’t take Real Madrid too long to double their lead in the second half. Rodrygo’s cross found Joselu, who headed home to make it 2-0 for the hosts.

The Blancos missed several chances to increase their lead later in the second half as Las Palmas failed to mount a comeback.
