A game of weighty implications awaits at the Red Bull Arena as both contending teams seek entry into the last-16 on the final group stage matchday.

The Champions League Group H still is up for a nail-biting conclusion.

None of the teams have yet booked their place for the next stage after four rounds of fixtures. Come Tuesday night, the fate of each of the teams will be decided with two all-or-nothing matches to be played.

Here we preview one of those matches: the clash between RB Leipzig and Manchester United.

The Bundesliga team must secure all three points at the Red Bull Arena to move past the group stage, whereas the Premier League side must avoid defeat to do the same.

While the permutations for this one are simple, calling a winner beforehand is hard. That said, the visitors appear to have the upper hand.

RB Leipzig vs Manchester United Form:

The hosts come into the exciting encounter after holding the mighty Bayern Munich to a 3-3 draw on Saturday.

Julian Nagelsmann’s men can also take pride in the fact that they have won each of their last seven games at home, averaging about 2.5 goals a match in that period.

They have managed to grind out wins in three of their five European games so far, with one loss coming in the away leg of the upcoming tie and the other against last season’s competition finalists.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will enter the pitch with high morale, having completed back-to-back comebacks to emerge 3-1 victorious against West Ham and 3-1 against Southampton in their previous two league outings.

Their away form has been awe-inspiring with eight wins in their last nine travels. An incredible 25 goals were scored in that duration.

The Red Devils are level on points with their upcoming opponents at nine but sit atop Group H due to better goal difference: 6 vs -3.

RB Leipzig vs Manchester United Head-to-head:

The team from England secured all three points in the reverse fixture, with Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, and Anthony Martial contributing the goals in the 5-0 thrashing.

RB Leipzig vs Manchester United Team News:

Nagelsmann has a few injury concerns to deal with as Lukas Klostermann, Konrad Laimer, Fabrice Hartmann, Benjamin Henrichs, and Hwang Hee-chan remain unavailable.

Solskjaer has his own fair share of problems. Edinson Cavani and Martial will miss Tuesday’s match with muscular problems, Luke Shaw is still out with a hamstring issue, while Fred is also suspended.

David de Gea missed the West Ham game with a slight knee issue but should be back in the starting XI.
