The Red Devils endured another trophyless season last time out as they reached three semi-finals only to crash out in each of them.

Marcus Rashford has resolved to help Manchester United ‘get over the line’ and win trophies in 2021.

It has been three long years since a piece of silverware last arrived at Old Trafford with Jose Mourinho the one to deliver it in the form of Europa League glory in his debut season at the helm.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had the opportunity to replicate his predecessor’s success as he was able to guide the team deep into the 2019-20 edition of the competition.

However, United were knocked out in the semi-finals after a 2-1 defeat at the hands of eventual champions Sevilla.

The Red Devils faced exits at similar stages in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.

Rashford, who has won four titles in his Man United career so far, is eager to add more winners’ medals.

The forward told the club’s official website: “We missed out on winning some trophies, losing in the semi-finals and that’s what we need to correct in the coming year and make sure we get over the line and win trophies.

“That’s the next thing for us to do as a team then it’s about doing it consistently and being able to repeat it back-to-back which is more difficult than getting it the first time.

“We’ve still got a long journey ahead of us, but at the moment we’re in a good place and we’re concentrating on ourselves and our team and just trying to improve ourselves in each game.”
