The forward is not the designated spot-kick taker for the Red Devils but has shown in the past that he is effective from 12 yards out.

Marcus Rashford has revealed he practices penalties against Dean Henderson during Manchester United training sessions.

Rashford also named Joel Pereira, who is currently playing on loan at Huddersfield, as his penalty practice partner.

Manchester United have won eight penalties in the Premier League this season.

Bruno Fernandes, whose first goal in the club colors after his arrival from Sporting last season was a penalty, is the one responsible for taking the spot-kicks for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

Only once has Rashford stepped up to the spot this season – in the Champions League clash with Istanbul Basaksehir.

In total, the England international has taken 16 penalties across his career so far and converted 14 of those, with both his misses coming in the previous season.

Rashford told the club’s official website of his penalty practice with Henderson and Pereira: “We do practise against each other.

“I always like to practise against Dean and Joel because, probably out of all the keepers, they know me best and my finishing drills and stuff like that.

“If I can score against them I know I can score against anyone, so I have to test myself against these guys.”
