The Brazil international has selected a Man Utd player he’d like Barcelona to sign.
Raphinha would ‘like to have’ Brazil teammate Casemiro with him at Barcelona.
The Brazilian players are set to go head-to-head for the first time in respective club careers on Thursday. Casemiro visits Camp Nou with Manchester United to take on Raphinha and Barcelona. It’s the first of a two-legged Europa League knockout playoff tie between the sides.
“Man, Casemiro is a player that I always talk about to my friends and family,” Raphinha told ESPN Brasil when asked which player he would like on his team.
“He’s a player that I’d particularly like to have on my team.
“Besides the experience he has in football and all the things he has achieved in football, he’s a great leader, he’s a great person, and he completes a team with the quality he has.
“For me, he’s one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.”
Kick-off for the Barcelona-Manchester United match is at 18:45 (CET). For betting tips and stats, visit the Ace Football link here.
