According to a report in Spain, Sergio Ramos is already leaning towards a particular decision when his contract with Real Madrid runs out.

Sergio Ramos is out of contract at Real Madrid next summer and reports from Spain claim he could consider offers from England and Italy.

Talks remain ongoing over the Real captain’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu but with no resolution found so far, he will be free to discuss a move next month with teams outside of Spain.

Spanish radio station Onda Cero claims that Ramos is now ‘thinking about leaving’ and he already has an offer from the Premier League if he wants to move to England.

The Spaniard is one of the most accomplished players in his position and even at 34, he would still be the rush of many sides.

Ramos has made 660 appearances for Real Madrid, won 178 Spain caps, and boasts a trophy haul of 18 major titles for club and country.

The report goes on to add that Real Madrid’s desire to reduce the first-team wage bill could be one of the reasons their star defender will look for a move elsewhere.

However, the major reason for a delay regarding Ramos and a potential renewal comes down to the club’s unwillingness to offer more than a one-year deal.

Los Blancos have a policy that players over 30 only get a 12-month extension. Ramos turns 35 in March and failure to come to an agreement between both parties means the defender could indeed leave the club.
