The Borussia Dortmund star’s agent has dropped a transfer hint as clubs across Europe prepare for a bidding war.

Mino Raiola has claimed Borussia Dortmund could have a change of heart on their stance to not sell Erling Haaland.

Despite Haaland’s reported €75 million release clause becoming active in 2022, Dortmund have previously insisted there are no plans to sell their prized asset to any bidder in the summer.

But while the German club’s resolve remains intact, Haaland’s prolific form has kept clubs across Europe on high alert. Therefore, Raiola believes nothing can be ruled out if the right opportunity comes calling.

“What we know as of today is that Dortmund spoke extremely solemnly to us and said: ‘We are not selling him’. That’s the situation, definitely,” Haaland’s agent Raiola told AS.

“That’s what they’ve said. Now let’s see if that desire is still there through to the 1st of September.

“Today, the official stance of Dortmund is this.

“But I’ve got another view, I think that if a good opportunity comes up and everyone would be happy, we’ll put it on the table.”

FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City are all reportedly among Haaland’s suitors.

Reports have even emerged claiming Lionel Messi would be prepared to take a pay cut to help Barcelona sign the Norwegian.
