PSG play host to Manchester City in a mouth-watering Champions League semi-final first-leg showdown at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night.

For these two European heavyweights, winning the Champions League is their holy grail, but both teams have regularly suffered disappointment in the latter stages of Europe’s elite club competition.

PSG will be looking to make it to two finals in a row while Pep Guardiola will be aiming to reach his first Champions League final as Manchester City boss. However this game may be, this is the one match all season you don’t want to miss.

It might be difficult to predict a winner here but goals could be the order of the day, given the attacking talent at both ends of the pitch.

PSG’s last match was a 3-1 win at Metz. Kylian Mbappe scored the first two goals with Icardi wrapping it up from the penalty spot.

Pep Guardiola’s side won six straight games before a shock 2-1 home defeat to Leeds. Man City then beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in both legs in the Champions League quarter-finals. They were eliminated by Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals, losing 1-0 at Wembley.

The Citizens bounced back with a 2-1 win at Aston Villa in the Premier League after falling behind in the 1st minute.

City won their fourth straight League Cup on Sunday. They beat Tottenham 1-0 at Wembley, dominating the game with 21-2 shots, Aymeric Laporte heading home a late winner.
