Check out the latest team news, injuries, suspensions, and predicted line-ups as PSG and Bayern Munich meet in the Champions League.
Kylian Mbappe’s brace and a Marquinhos goal nailed Paris Saint-Germain a 3-2 first-leg win over Bayern Munich in a quarter-final tie last week.
The Parisians now hope to finish the job on Tuesday against an injury-hit Bayern, who are still missing the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry.
PSG Team News & XI
Marco Verratti and Alessandro Florenzi have returned to training after recovering from COVID-19. However, it’s uncertain if Mauricio Pochettino will select them right away.
The PSG boss, though, could be without Marquinhos. The defender, who scored against Bayern in the first leg, has reportedly been diagnosed with a Grade 2 adductor injury.
“I don’t know yet,” said Pochettino on Marquinhos. “We’ll make a decision on Tuesday. He could be part of the squad, but not to start the game.”
But goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who Pochettino replaced at half-time against Strasbourg, trained normally on Monday. Leandro Paredes, meanwhile, returns from suspension, and Abdou Diallo could be back from illness.
Although Mauro Icardi will join Juan Bernat on the sidelines.
Predicted Line-up
Bayern Munich Team News & XI
Despite returning to training on Monday, Robert Lewandowski isn’t in the squad. Therefore, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting will probably continue to lead the line in Paris.
Douglas Costa, Corentin Tolisso, Niklas Sule, and Serge Gnabry are all confirmed absentees.
But Kingsley Coman and Lucas Hernandez have overcome their respective issues to make Hansi Flick’s 19-man squad.
