The French striker’s relationship with the club has hit new lows in recent days.

Thierry Henry has criticized Kylian Mbappe for creating tension in Paris Saint-Germain’s dressing room.

On Tuesday, widespread reports in French and English media claimed Mbappe asked PSG to allow his departure this January.

According to Marca, Mbappe is not happy with his position under Christophe Galtier. The Frenchman reportedly insists on leaving this winter, but PSG have no intention of selling their star striker.

“Nobody likes being exposed to what they’re not good at. He doesn’t like it, that’s all,” Henry told CBS Sport.

“In the end, there’s only one rule: If the coach asks you to do something, you do it for the good of the team.

“And the team wins! If the team lost, I would have understood the debate.”
